Description: Growing freeware site. Very extended listings.
The site displays this informational : "Freeware Pro is an archive of free software. All the programs available on Freeware Pro are free of charge. Why you may ask, because the programs authors want them to be, whether the programs are simply a labour of love, something the author created for themselves and decided to share or the author may just believe people should not have to pay for software."
There is a newsletter available to sign up to receive.

Description: Freewareweb.com has been around since 1997 and is a relatively easy to navigate site. The have a newsletter you may sign up for (you will receive 3 - 4 issues per month). A pretty decent FTP file search can be done through the site. The site does display ads but with a service called freewarewebplus that is a subsrciption service you can navigate bannerless (the service costs $19.95/month) and also has other features which I cannot describe as I have not signed up.

Description: Moochers features loads of freeware to choose from (in categories including: Business, Desktop, Education, Games, Graphics Internet, Programming, Screensavers and Utilities).
The site features freeware for both Windows and Linux.
They have a nice forum.
This site does display advertisements.
