Installing Sophos Version 7 on Windows
Minimum Requirements
Operating Systems: Windows 2000 Professional or Server Windows XP Professional Windows XP Home Windows 2003 Windows Vista
Disk space: 120 MB
Memory: Minimum 128MB, recommended 256MB.
Considerations: If you use any Anti-Virus software other than Sophos
you will have to uninstall it prior to installing Sophos Anti-Virus.
Older versions of Sophos should be uninstalled automatically by this
installation. Some users may have to uninstall Sophos 4.0x for the
installation to complete successfully.
Installing Sophos Anti-Virus
To begin the installation of Sophos Anti-Virus 7 download the installer and double-click on InstallSophos7.exe.
Sophos Anti-Virus and Sophos AutoUpdate will extract and then install
on your computer. While Sophos is updating, a grey shield will appear
in your system tray in the bottom right of the screen.
Once Sophos has installed completely a blue shield will appear in the system tray.
This icon indicates that Sophos is active and scanning for viruses.
While the computer is turned on Sophos AutoUpdate will check for
updates at hourly intervals.
Just download and install, it automatically update every hour or so when you are online. No crack or serial required.
