Within the last few years,
the idea of truly affordable DVD storage has become a reality. For most people though, buying a DVD writer can be hard. Not
only are the store shelves full of drives claiming to be the fastest or most feature packed writers on the market, you also
have to decide what recordable DVD format to go with. If you're like most, you don't want to spend your well earned money
on a DVD writer and then find out that the discs it uses won't work with your DVD player or find that drive you purchased is
obsolete due to the industry backing a competing format. Those of you that bought a Betamax VCR in the early 80's know what
I mean.
